On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Party, in order to welcome the birthday of the Party and help the development of the Party building work of the company, on June 24, the Party branch of the company organized all Party members to carry out the Party building theme activity of "not forgetting the original intention and remembering the mission".
Led by Li Zhiwei, the secretary of the party branch and chairman of the company, all the party members and party activists of the company officially left at 7:00 a.m. that day and arrived at the former site of the 129th Division Command of the 8th Route Army in Shibian County, Hebei Province after more than three hours' drive. The former site of the 129th Division Command of the 8th Route Army is a national key cultural relics protection unit, one hundred patriotic education demonstration bases in China and a classic scenic spot for red tourism in China, consisting of the former site of the command, General Ling and the exhibition hall, covering an area of about three hundred acres. All members of the company visited the exhibition hall and the former site of the headquarters in depth. A house, an object, a picture, all emitting a strong revolutionary atmosphere, recording the momentous years of the war, bearing the great achievements of the forefathers. 129 Division soldiers hard work, heroic deeds of resistance to Japan, deeply shocked the hearts of each party member. In the square of the exhibition hall, all party members held the activity of revisiting the oath of party membership, everyone's powerful and passionate oath sounded over the square.
In the afternoon, all party members held a party meeting in the company, which discussed and voted on matters such as the transfer of preparatory party members, the determination of development objects and the establishment of party groups in 2018. Li Zhiwei, secretary of the party branch and chairman of the company, made a speech at the meeting. He said that in the morning, we visited the former site of the 129th Division Command of the 8th Route Army to, firstly, remember the hard revolutionary years in the past and the great achievements made by the martyrs, cherish the solid foundation laid by the company's development for many years at present, and have firm confidence in pushing Guangyuan's business to a new peak. Secondly, we should learn from the excellent style of the old generation of proletarian revolutionaries who led by example and were honest and self-disciplined. Thirdly, we hope that everyone will work hard, take the initiative, play the role of a pioneer Party member in their respective positions and return the care of the company and the Party organization with better business achievements!
The smoke of war has long since cleared, and the years have diluted the memory of those hard years. But we have to inherit and carry forward the heroic spirit of our forefathers, and make new and greater contributions to the company's party building and production and operation development with the optimistic spirit of defying hardship and the valuable quality of dedication, in the future work, not forgetting the original intention and remembering the mission!
